The original North and South courses in La Cala have developed into Golf World, the biggest golf complex in Spain.
There are now 3 championship courses within La Cala Resort, each with a very different character.
Campo America- formally known as the North course- is the easier of the two.
It has wide fairways and rough areas with fewer bunkers. Three quarters of the greens are slightly elevated therefore accurate planning is required.
Campo Asia (South Course) opened 15 years ago. A short but exciting, hilly course.
The fairways and greens are well bunkered and many of the tee shots have wide landings.
The third and most recent addition to Golf World is Campo Europa which opened in march 2005.
Boasting generous fairways and larger greens than the other two courses. Another distinction is the Ojen river featured in eight holes and cutting accross three fairways.
La Cala Resort offers extensive practice facilites including a high-tech putting studio, video analysis, and has the only David Leadbetter Academy in Spain with all levels of teaching.
Further amenities are the clubhouse and the putting and chipping facilities.
