Spanish and Ryder Cup player Jose Maria Cañizares designed this taxing course. Anoreta golf club was the second golf course built east of Malaga situated at Rincon de la Victoria.
Water is a key feature of this club. Out of a total of 18 holes, it is used in 11. This can be a bit of a hazard, particularly the 17th hole which is surrounded by water.
In general the fairways and greens are generally fairly wide, and the scenerey is stunning.
Make the most of the driving range and practice facilities. There is also a golf school that offers both individual and group lessons if you need some extra help.
