Accompanied by teachers Jose Quintero and Guy Leleu, the students arrived at the Marbella Club Hotel to meet Carlos Quereda the Head of Sales and Marketing. They then enjoyed a presentation by Erica Nordensen, a member of the Sales and Marketing team and graduate of the world renowned Lausanne Hotel School. She gave a very informative talk about what life is really like at a top hotel school and what it is like to work in one of the “Leading Hotels of the World”. The students were then given a tour of the hotel and tucked in to a “business breakfast” kindly supplied by the Marbella Club Hotel.

The day continued at Les Roches International School of Hotel Management where the students were met by Liza Humphrey, the Enrolment Manager, who produced a multimedia presentation that covered many aspects of the hotel industry and showed what Les Roches stands for and how well regarded it is worldwide. Next on the agenda was lunch at the “El Olivio” restaurant where the meal was prepared by second year students and served by first year students. After lunch there was a spectacular demonstration of flambé cooking.
