is quite often forgotten when people list the great cities of Andalucia, but the port is extremely historic and just as famous as almost any of them. The province of Cadiz stretches from the mouth of the Rio Guadalquivir to the strait of Gibraltar. Its attractions include the historic port of Cadiz, the triangle of sherry- making towns (Jerez de la Frontera, sanlucar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Santa Maria). The undeveloped Atlantic beaches along the Costa de la Luz are absolutely magnificent along with the beautiful green mountain ranges.
