">Aloha College is an independent, non-profit making, co-educational day school situated on the outskirts of Marbella. Founded in 1982 the college has a current enrolment of 800 pupils, spanning 46 nationalities. The college is owned by a charitable trust and administered by two Head Teachers with a Board of Governors, all of whom are parents. The college is divided into a Junior School (Nursery to Year 6) and Secondary School (Year 7 to Year 13) each with its own Head.
The primary aim of the College is to enlarge each individual pupil's knowledge, experience and imaginative understanding, whatever that pupil's nationality, race, colour or religion. The College also strives to inculcate an awareness of moral values and a capacity for enjoyment, enabling that pupil to become an active participant in society whilst retaining a responsible independence of thought and action.
Aloha College provides a wonderful environment for its students. The College sits on 25000m2 of land, with upper and lower level sports pitches, and a large, beautifully - terraced area with views of the mountains and the Mediterranean. The College is flanked by a championship golf course and golf academy, with excellent local road access, yet only three minutes' drive from the main highway and Marbella town centre ten minutes. Next to the College is a riding school; the beach and the world famous marina, Puerto Banús are almost on the doorstep. |
