EL CABLE BEACH:

Characteristics and Location: It is located in a non-developed area. It goes from the east of the fishing port to the mouth of "Río Real" river. It has a longitude of 1.300 m. and an average width of 40 m., made up of fine golden sand. Use: It is a tourist beach with a low level of occupation. Water sports as windsurf, pedalos, jet-skis, etc. are practised. Among its facilities we can find a camping-site and two beach bars with sunbeds. Cleanliness and Hygiene: The condition of the water is good, obtaining from 1992 until 1995 the Blue Flag award. The service of municipal cleaning carries out the maintenance of the beach daily, manually and mechanically. Equipment and Services: This beach has few public showers and toilets because of its especial characteristics, being situated in an area next to the fishing port where the beach bars are concentrated. It has rubbish bins, life guards as well as municipal surveillance during the summer.
