EL ALICATE BEACH:

Location and Characteristics: It is located in a semiurban area, surrounded by urbanisation's with low buildings. It has a longitude of 1.900 m. and an average width of 35 m. It is made up of fine golden sand typical of the dunes of the area where it is located. Use: It is a tourist beach with a medium level of occupation. Water Sports as windsurf, jet-skis, pedalos, etc. are practised. Among its facilities we can find the hotel "Pinomar", as well as eleven beach bars and a beach club. Cleanliness and Hygiene: The condition of the water is good, obtaining from 1992 until 1996 the Blue Flag award. The service of municipal cleaning carries out the maintenance of the beach daily, manually and mechanically. Equipment and Services: This beach has public showers and toilets, rubbish bins, watch towers, life guards and first aid, as well as municipal vigilance during the summer.
