Sunland International School is an independent co-educational day school serving pupils aged 3-15 of all nationalities. The academic programme, offered in an Andalusian setting, is based on the National Curriculum for England; Key stages 1-3, although it incorporates elements of the Spanish national curriculum. Sunland International School is now an official candidate school of the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) and has begun the process of implementing the IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP). The long-term goal is to grow the secondary school with the eventual introduction of the (English) IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma programmes. The school is located on a spacious and secure 40.000 sq. metres campus to the west and north of Malaga which features academic buildings, sports facilities, and a small school farm. Sunland International School is a member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS), the Council of International Schools, and is recognised by the British Council and the Spanish Ministry of Education.
