 The language school Al Andalus is situated in Málaga, in a residential neighbourhood of Pedregalejo, a 5 minute' walk to the beach and only a 15 minute' bus ride from the city centre. Since 1980 the school is in a typical house of the neighbourhood, where you will find both quietness and bustling streets, with many choices for you free time. Our school has 6 spacious and light classrooms, an inner patio with a coffee shop, video and library room, and a kitchen for our Cookery Course.
We receive students of all ages over 16. The average of students in summer is 45 and about 15 the rest of the year. This let us give each student individual and personal attention all year round, in a familiar and friendly atmosphere. All our teachers are Spaniards with University degree and teaching certificates, they are dynamic and have years of experience. You will feel motivated and eager to participate actively.
 As a base, we use the Communicative Method, giving great importance to talk and understanding. You will also will learn the grammar almost without being aware of it. The teachers use clear examples of everyday situations. In this way, you can take part in everyday life right from the start. Al Andalus offers seven levels, from Beginners (for those who do not know any Spanish or very little) to Superior. We have structured all the seven levels as an integrated progressive system, in which you can learn the basis of the Spanish or you can acquire fluency or perfection. - Standard Course
