Aloha College is an independent, co-educational day school for pupils aged 3-18. It is situated on the outskirts of Marbella, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Aloha seeks to provide a safe, stimulating and happy environment in which all of the pupils can thrive. The college was founded in 1982 as a non-profit-making limited company owned by parent-shareholders and it provides an international education for pupils of some 38 nationalities.

Aloha College is divided into a primary and a secondary section, and with roughly equal numbers of boys and girls. The school provides a bi-lingual English/Spanish education based on the English National Curriculum and on the Spanish National System, LOGSE. French and German are also offered at advanced levels.

In the secondary school students follow courses leading to the IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma. The International Baccalaureate course is recognized and valued highly by universities throughout the world. Aloha commonly has a 100% pass rate in the IB and in the Spanish Selectividad examinations and students graduate to universities in the UK, Spain, Europe and North America.

The facilities of the college include four science laboratories, a music suite with practice rooms, a library, an art/design studio with photographic dark room and a new Astroturf pitch. The College has state of the art computing facilities with two new computing rooms and a school intranet. All students have access to the internet throughout the school and there is a laptop computer scheme available for the IB students.

Lunches are prepared each day in the school from an extensive range of menus.

The College operates a bus service to transport pupils to school from the outlying districts to the east and west of Marbella.

All age groups enjoy educational visits in the course of the year throughout Andalucia and pupils can participate in an extensive extra-curricular activities programme on two afternoons per week as well as in various sports teams.

Entry is by interview and examination arranged through the Principal and the Heads of Primary and Secondary School. Aloha College also requires a copy of previous school reports and a school reference from all prospective pupils. Enquiries should, in the first instance, be directed to the College's Admissions Secretary.
